I am missing my sis a lot, so another page about her.  I have quite a few of her done - and I would like to put a couple of albums together for my nieces, but none of the pages are flat - so can't seem to find any type of album that will work yet.

PRIMA PAINTABLES and PRIMA OIL PASTELS

I ordered 4 packs of Prima 4x6 Paintables, as well as a set of the Paintable Tags.  I used Prima Oil Pastels to add color.  The first one in the top picture, I made into a card and I'm not sure yet what I will do with the other 3 prints - probably cards too.  The last Paintable - bottom photo on the right - was actually an accident.  I had been using baby wipes on my projects and one of them was sitting on that particular print and when I lifted it - it had multiple soft colors all mixed together.  So, I took my baby wipe and just ran it over the print - and I liked the result - sort of a rainbow of colors.  Other than the Paintables and Oil Pastels, I used Prima flowers, some dyed cheese cloth, a piece of burlap and a few Say It With Crystals on it.

HALLOWEEN ATCs

I did some gelli printing and pulled some Halloween prints and made these ATCs from one of the prints.  A few of the pics on the ATCs came from the most current edition of Somerset Studio - there was a set of 4 free pages - one with cut-outs - which I used above.

In case you can't read the sentiments on the ATCs - they are as follows:

Back row - crow: "Take a risk and fly; explore beyond and more."
Skeleton: "You make my eyes pop."
Pumpkin and leaves: Capture your dreams."
Bats: "I'm a sucker for you."
Owl head: Not my circus, not my monkeys."
Front row: Owl: "Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
Owl and cat:  "Magic is real."
Leaves and dragonfly: We are fearless, and so the adventure begins."

As I said, I used a gelli print as the background.  All the pictures are from the latest edition of Somerset Studio, except for the bats - and I found them on Graphic Fairy.  I used a charm on each ATC and the leaves are from a sack of leaves I bought several years ago at Michael's.  The sentiments are from Tim Holtz.  The charms were in my stash.

I made these ATCs after I was playing around with Some 13 Arts and Coloringz spray mists on a couple of pieces of A4 watercolor paper from the Bloom Pad.  I hadn't intended to make anything, but I so liked how the pages looked when they were dry, I decided to make some ATCs from the paper.  I cut up some chipboard coasters as the backers.  For the birds/butterflies, I used paper from The Flying Unicorn Nature's Garden papers in the Small Art, Big Passion September kit.  I also used some metal adornments from The Flying Unicorn and Finnabair.  The hemp twine came from - you guessed it, The Flying Unicorn.  I also used some stencils on the paper and Texture Paste for just another layer.

Paper:  Prima Jamie Dougherty's Bloom A4 Watercolor Pad
Bird/Butterfly prints:  Nature's Garden paper in the Flying Unicorn Small Art, Big Passion September kit.
Stencils:  13 Arts Mental Vacation Tattered Grid and Tattered Circle stencils; Grid stencil from The Stencil Girl
Hemp Twine: Pink, Blue, Gray and Yellow from Flying Unicorn
Metal Adornments from The Flying Unicorn and Finnabair
Spray Mists:  13 Arts Chalk Indigo, Pastel Cobalt and Pastel Cinnamon; Coloringz Moody Mauve

FLYING UNICORN SEPTEMBER 2015 KIT

Once again, I'm uploading something I did last week - but didn't have time to blog or FB.  In the Flying Unicorn September 2015 kits - the off the page project was a wooden candlestick.  The wooden birdhouse was from a Flying Unicorn kit a few months back as the off the page project.  As I hadn't worked with the birdhouse - I just decided to put them together and make a birdhouse/stand.  This is not your everyday birdhouse stand - I primed each piece and added texture paste here and there for some crackling.  Next, I painted them with Prima's Chalkboard Paints in Egg Blue and Eggshell giving it an old/weathered look.  I glammed up the candlestick with glitter and flowers and then went to work on the birdhouse - same procedure, except I added 2 decoupage birds from the Nature's Garden papers in the Flying Unicorn Small Art, Big Passion kit.  (The candlestick was the OTP in the Flying Unicorn Main Kit).  I have one of the birds peeking out of the hole and one sitting on top - added more flowers on top.  Also added some cheesecloth inside for the nest and sticking out on some of the flowers.  Used a few Prima Say it with Crystals hearts on the house.  And, finally added some ivory lace (also from a previous month Flying Unicorn kit) on the bottom of the birdhouse and on the from of the roof.

Wooden Candlestick:  September 2015 Flying Unicorn Off the Page project in the Main Kit
Wooden Birdhouse:  from a previous Flying Unicorn Main Kit
Paint:  Prima Chalkboard Paint in Egg Blue and Egg Shell
Flowers:  Prima Nikko Chiko (also from The Flying Unicorn); Leaves: Prima Something Blue -  Maid of Honor (in stash); Prima Say it With Crystals Stars (in stash)
Lace:  Previous Flying Unicorn Kit
Decoupage Birds:  Flying Unicorn Small Art, Big Passion September Kit)
Cheesecloth; stash
Mediums:  Prima/Finnabair Soft Matte Gel to adhere all objects
